Pottery Class
This 5-week wheel thrown pottery class is designed for beginners, those looking to reconnect with clay or intermediate potters to learn in a supportive, hands-on environment. You’ll learn foundational wheel-throwing techniques, basic hand-building, trimming, glazing, and finishing — all at a relaxed, intentional pace.
Classes are offered once or twice per week, with 2-hour sessions and one-on-one instruction built into each class. While instruction is individualized, this class is perfect to sign up solo, with a partner, or as a small group of friendswho want to learn together.
All essential materials are included: clay, tools, glazing, and firing. Pieces made during class will be professionally fired and glazed, ready to take home at the end of the session.
This class focuses on guided instruction during scheduled class times and does not include additional open studio access between sessions.

Hand Building Pottery Class
This 5-week hand building pottery class focuses on creating expressive, functional, and sculptural work without the wheel. Designed for beginners and returning makers alike, this class explores foundational hand building techniques while encouraging experimentation and personal style.
You’ll learn essential methods including pinching, coiling, and slab construction, as well as proper slipping and scoring to build strong, lasting forms. As the course progresses, students will have the opportunity to work on larger-scale and more sculptural pieces, developing confidence in both structure and surface.
Classes meet once or twice per week for 2-hour sessions and include one-on-one instruction throughout, making this an ideal experience whether you’re signing up solo, with a partner, or as a small group of friends.
